The Problem

Flat picks were never designed for human fingers.

Traditional picks are flat.
Your fingers aren’t.

When you hold a flat pick between your round fingers, the pick tends to rotate naturally as you play.
That rotation creates constant micro-adjustments—even if you aren’t aware of it.

More micro-adjustments mean:

  • More pressure to hold the pick
  • More tension
  • You devote attention to compensating for the pick’s deviations

And you have less attention available for tempo, articulation, and expression.

Better ergonomics = Better practice

Designed to guide your fingers—not fight against them

PickTwist’s ergonomic design naturally guides your fingers into a stable playing position. You don’t need to squeeze to keep it where you want it. Less pressure means less strain. Since the pick stays in the position you choose, you don’t need to compensate for slipping. Your technique stays consistent—without constant corrections. Less focus on holding the pick means more attention available for:
  • The tempo
  • Clarity
  • Dynamics
  • Expression
And when you devote more attention to these things, your practice time goes further. You’re not just playing more. You’re reinforcing better technique with every note.

Clearer sound

Clean sound starts at the source

Traditional picks have sharp edges on the sides.

When these edges scrape the string, they generate a small burst of broad-spectrum noise—commonly perceived as “pick noise.”

Because this noise spans multiple frequencies, it cannot be completely eliminated with EQ or compression.
It must be corrected at the source.

PickTwist features a rounded side profile.

Instead of scraping the string, it glides over it—reducing unwanted transient noise and producing a cleaner, more controlled attack.

The only downside?

“Pick scrapes” as a special effect are less pronounced.

For most guitarists—especially in recording—the benefit is immediate:
A more defined and cleaner sound.

Innovation

It’s not a grip. It’s not a coating. It’s a structural redesign.

PickTwist is neither a texture nor an accessory.

It is a complete geometric reinterpretation of the pick—designed around how fingers actually work.

Find your PickTwist

You still don’t know which one is your favorite.

One of the most surprising things we’ve discovered:

There’s no clear correlation between the pick you currently use and the PickTwist model you’ll like best.

Do you use a small pick? You might prefer a small PickTwist. Or you might fall in love with a large one.

Do you like thick, sharp picks? You might like the same thing in PickTwist. Or you might find that you prefer a thinner, more rounded one.

The only way to know is to try them all.

That’s why the Mixed Set includes one of each model—so you can find your perfect match right away.
